Annual Preview Las Vegas Event Paints Positive Picture
LAS VEGAS -- The future appears bright for the Las Vegas valley, according to the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce which held its annual Preview Las Vegas event Friday.
Thousands of people paid $80 to attend the event at the Cox Pavilion and hear information that impacts everyone from the Las Vegas Strip to the suburbs.
Preview Las Vegas is all about business, the economy, and jobs.
"While there are some things to be concerned about, I don't know how you're not optimistic on where on economy has been and where it is today," said Jeremy Aguero, principal analyst with the local research firm Applied Analysis. "We're seeing population growth, adding new jobs, the unemployment rate is dropping faster than anywhere else in the United States. We're seeing diversification of our underlying economy."
