We know how to build a facility in Las Vegas and the campus of UNLV is no exception. The donor funded, $11.7 million dollar Mendenhall Center is a one-stop basketball shop directly adjacent to the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. On par with basketball facilities for top-tier programs like Duke University and the University of Louisville, the Mendenhall Center is a 35,000 square foot showcase for Runnin' Rebel recruits and a resource to the student athletes. The three-tier building includes two full-size practice courts, an academic resource space with computers, film room and a weight and conditioning room.
Leadership Las Vegas Alumni are invited to visit the Mendenhall Center for a tour of the building to see everything it has to offer. But first, we'll hear from UNLV Athletic Director Tina Kunzer-Murphy and head basketball coach David Rice about how the facility impacts the school, the program and the community.
