It’s hard to believe now, but it wasn’t very long ago that two hospitals – one on the east side of town, one on the west – were sufficient to serve the health care needs of Las Vegas.
Today, the city is home to 12 hospitals, supported by dozens of satellite offices, medical centers, and quick-care facilities.
City fathers recognized early the need to stay one step ahead of Las Vegas’ population increase, which has been unparalleled in the nation for the past decade.
