Child Care

Child Care

Recommended child care ratios:

According to Child Care Aware (CCA), a nonprofit initiative committed to helping parents find the best information on locating quality child care and child care resources, the fewer the children for each adult, the better for your child. Babies require an adult-to-child ratio of no more than 1:4 (one adult for four infants); while 4-year-olds can do well with a ratio of 1:10 (one adult for 10 children). The CCA also recommends that parents find out how many children are in a given group. In general, the smaller the group, the better the care.
