LAS VEGAS— The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and SCORE are launching QuickSTART, a series of classes to help prospective business owners understand the necessary steps to successfully launch a business. QuickSTART is one of several new programs and services that the Chamber will be unveiling in mid-September to help small businesses.
QuickSTART is a series of workshops that cover the business start-up process including developing a business concept, business marketing, financial projections and accessing funding sources.
The series kicks off with a free seminar called QuickSTART Introduction: Business Start Up Basics. This free class will introduce entrepreneurs to the concepts of starting a new business. SCORE will guide participants through a series of questions regarding their business idea and whether to move forward.
The free introductory class is on Thursday, September 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in Town Square.
QuickSTART Introduction is free. The cost for the rest of the series is only $99.95 or $150 for two attendees from the same company. Individual sessions can be purchased for $34.95 each. The cost includes program material.

The series will repeat beginning on September 23, with classes held at Clark County Library District locations across the Valley.
Start Up Basics classes will be taught by SCORE volunteers. SCORE is a non-profit organization of working and retired business executives, professionals and business owners who donate their time and expertise as business counselors. SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
