Michael Kent presented with Chamber’s Five Star Award for exceptional customer service

The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Excellence program is proud to name Michael Kent of Chase as its most recent Five Star Award winner. The award recognizes individuals who provide exemplary customer service to the residents and visitors of Southern Nevada.

Kent was nominated for the Five Star recognition by a Chase banking customer. The nominator went into her local bank branch just prior to closing to inquire about charges to her statement that were unfamiliar. Kent stayed more than an hour beyond closing to assist with account management and explain the intricacies of her statement in detail.

“In these times of confusion, uncertainty and change in the banking world, it is nice to know there are bankers who truly want their customers to know about their products and changes to their accounts,” explained the nominator. “Michael not only looked up all of my accounts, but he also took the time to update my profile, tell me about the changes in the accounts and what products I might consider. We also went through my business accounts and Amy Nicolas, the Small Business Specialist, got involved with my banking needs. Both stayed with me until we concluded all of the business we could at that time and we made arrangements for follow-up calls the next morning.”

The customer is now considering other Chase products for both her personal and business use because of the time and superior attitude displayed by Chase employees.
