On behalf of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, congratulations to each of you as you graduate from the Leadership Las Vegas program.
Now more than ever our community needs strong, experienced leaders to help navigate the challenges we face. Good leaders recognize challenges as opportunities to affect change and better our community.
Las Vegas has a rich heritage of innovative leaders embracing challenges and enhancing the quality of life we enjoy in Southern Nevada. Especially in these times, leaders with your training and vision are necessary to bring Las Vegas to a brighter future.
The Class of 2009 is uniquely qualified and prepared to accept the responsibilities that come with being a leader, and to continue the Leadership Las Vegas legacy of creating a better community.

As our community navigates through particularly challenging economic times, your experience, creativity and innovation as problem solvers and passionate leaders become even more vital.
