Leadership Las Vegas is an intensive, 10-month program devoted to strengthening and educating our community leaders. Leadership Las Vegas provides in-depth insights into a variety of issues impacting residents of Southern Nevada.
We have a convenient online form you can complete to order more information on Leadership Las Vegas.

Leadership Las Vegas was established in 1986 as a division of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. More than 900 community leaders have graduated from Leadership Las Vegas, and continue their commitment to the growth, development and prosperity of one of the fastest growing cities in the country - Las Vegas!
Leadership Las Vegas is an exclusive program accepting only 48 participants representing a diverse cross-section of the community to participate annually.
The program covers topics including an in depth review of the history of Las Vegas, gaming and tourism news, government and politics insights, media and entertainment scene, business outlooks, technology growth, local education infrastructure, growth forecast and real estate, construction trends, health care issues and much more!
This intensive 10-month program requires attendance to a series of session days and a unique class retreat, where the incoming participants bond and begin to develop life long relationships.
The culmination of the program is its Gala Leadership Graduation ceremony held in June.
The tuition is non-refundable if the selected applicant is terminated from the program for absence or other reasons.
Once selected to participate in the Leadership Las Vegas program, if the non-member participant decides to join the Chamber within six months of completing the program, a $250 credit will be applied toward the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce membership dues.
Scholarships for up to one-half of tuition may be available.
"Before I participated in Leadership I was like many people in Las Vegas. I thought I’d stay a few years and then move on. Leadership made me more committed to participating in our community than I could have ever imagined. In the five years since I graduated I can definitely say it was pivotal in my decision to make Las Vegas my permanent home. Like you I meet individuals who have so much to offer our community, as business people and potential community leaders. I encourage them to consider Leadership so they will have the same vision of what they can achieve in Las Vegas, for themselves and for others.” --Florence M E Rogers, '04, President/General Manager Nevada Public Radio
"Leadership Las Vegas offers historical insight from a wide array of long-time community leaders. Participants learn exactly how the Las Vegas of today came to be." --Senator Richard Bryan, panelist for Leadership Las Vegas History Day
“I am proud to be a Leadership Las Vegas Alumnus. The friendships and business acquaintances I made and the knowledge I gained during my year in the program are still invaluable to me today. I highly recommend the program for any business or non-profit leader.” -- Julie A. Murray ’94, Chief Executive Officer, Three Square
“Through Leadership Las Vegas, I learned exactly how Las Vegas works – in a single year. And in addition to meeting the people who are behind key decisions in this entire region, I also made friends for life. The class was one of the best bonding experiences a person could ever have.” -- Bruce Spotleson ‘99, Group Publisher, Greenspun Media Group
"We live in the most dynamic community in America, with new business people constantly moving in. Leadership Las Vegas is probably the best and deepest community orientation program I've ever seen." --Billy Vassiliadis, CEO and Principal, R&R Partners
The class is challenged to choose how they can make a difference, build other leaders, and make a long-term commitment to the community.
At the end of the Leadership Las Vegas experience, graduates will have developed a network of relationships throughout the community to bring a fresh, broadened perspective to issues facing Las Vegas and serve as important participants in a unified effort to shape its future.
