Leadership Las Vegas is the premier executive development program in Southern Nevada. A select group of participants engage in a 10-month comprehensive program designed for participants to enhance leadership skills, develop awareness of the community, and join a network of leaders committed to accepting responsibility for the community’s shared concerns.

Open to just 48 participants, the program consists of a unique retreat for participants and a series of in-depth review of current issues and topics in Southern Nevada, including the history of Las Vegas, gaming and tourism, government and politics, business outlooks, local education infrastructure, criminal justice, health care, and much more! The Leadership Las Vegas program is overseen by the Chamber and Leadership Council, a group of alumni that help plan and determine programming.

Today, the Leadership Las Vegas program has more than 1,000 alumni representing nearly every industry in Southern Nevada. Tuition for the program is $2,750 for members of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and $3,500 for non-members. Scholarships for up to one-half of tuition or a payment plan option may be available.

For more information on the program, download a brochure.

Class Challenge

$1,800
Raised

The Leadership Las Vegas Alumni Class Challenge is now open! Each year, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce asks Leadership graduates to raise money for the scholarship fund. This is your chance to help strengthen the Leadership program and future classes by giving individuals a chance to participate. Last year, the Class Challenge raised over $7,000 – more than in the first year – and we expect another increase this year.

Use this opportunity to rally your class and re-connect with your classmates – last year the Class of 2010 had 100% participation and took the title. Look for weekly bulletins before the Class Challenge concludes on May 31 and join in the discussion at the Alumni Facebook group.

Frequently Asked Questions

If my business becomes a Leadership Alumni sponsor and I am identified as the contributor for that sponsorship, will that contribution count towards the Challenge?
No - sponsorship levels are designated for business sponsorships exclusively. Only individual contributions will count toward the Challenge results.

Can I donate to the Class Challenge more than once?
Absolutely - you may donate as many times as you like.

How will the winner of the Class Challenge be determined?
The winning class will be determined by the total dollars raised, not by the number of people contributing but we hope to see as many people as possible from each class participating. The goal of Leadership Las Vegas is to create a network of community leaders and our network grows stronger as the network grows larger. Only those members of the winning class that contribute to the Class Challenge will be invited to participate in the reward event.

How will the money collected during the Class Challenge be used?
A portion of the money collected during the Class Challenge will be used to create a reward event for the winning class and the remainder will finance the Leadership Las Vegas Alumni contribution to the Leadership scholarships.

Leadership Las Vegas class participants are selected every year from hundreds of applications. Leadership applicants come from all industries and job sectors and represent a cross‑section of the Las Vegas community.

Here is the most recent Leadership Las Vegas graduating class. The class of 2011 graduates join more than 1,000 other alumni who have successfully completed this award winning program since 1986.
