Being a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce connects you to a network of business and community leaders unmatched by any other organization in the state. With more than 6,000 members, the Chamber attracts companies of all sizes and focuses on creating business to business opportunities among its members.

Chamber Leadership - Board of Trustees
The Chamber is governed by a board of trustees that is approved by the membership. The Board and Executive Committee set long-term goals and policies as well as strategy to deliver the programs and benefits to best serve the needs of the members. Board of Trustees
Other Volunteer Leadership
In addition to the Board of Trustees there are several key volunteer committees and councils that assist Chamber staff in coordinating and administering programs and events.
Business Council:
The Business Council consists of 26 members representing various industries throughout the community. The Business Council provides oversight for some of the Chamber's most established and popular events. These programs include Business Education Series, Business Expo, The Small Business Excellence Awards and Customer Service Excellence. Government Affairs Committee:
The Government Affairs Committee is a 17-member volunteer committee of business leaders who meet monthly to guide the Chamber in its government advocacy programs. The committee makes candidate endorsements, analyzes ballot initiatives and policy proposals, makes political contributions on behalf of BizPac and oversees grassroots campaign support through the Chamber's Advocacy in Action program. Leadership Council:
The Leadership Council is a governing body of the Chamber's leadership programs including Leadership Las Vegas and Focus Las Vegas. Council terms are one year, with the exeception of the Chair who serves three years. The Council oversees curriculum and speakers for the leadership programs and selects candidates for each program class. Navigators:
Chamber Navigators is a group of seasoned veteran Chamber members who help new members maximize the value of their membership. Navigators host the Chambers' Member-to-Member Marketing Expo a "mini" trade show and networking event held monthly that gives new members, existing members and prospective members a chance to get to know the Chamber and activate valuable member benefits. Prospectors:
The Prospectors are comprised of 30 long-standing Chamber members who serve as the "ambassadors" of the Chamber. They serve as hosts of New Member Breakfasts, the Board of Trustees' Installation and Chamber Night at Spring Mountain Ranch. Prospectors serve an indefinite term on the board and are elected by a majority vote by the Prospector board.
