Chamber Announces Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2010 Graduates

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce announces the graduation of the Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2010. The 48 class members completed the intensive 10-month leadership training program and were honored at a ceremony on Friday, June 18, at the Las Vegas Hilton. The graduates are executives from a variety of local businesses and organizations.

Established in 1986, Leadership Las Vegas is devoted to strengthening and educating community leaders. The program accepts only 48 participants each year, and provides in-depth insights into a wide-range of issues impacting Southern Nevada.

The program covers topics including the history of Las Vegas, gaming and tourism, government and politics, media and entertainment, business, technology, growth, local education, infrastructure, real estate, construction, and heath care.

More than 900 community leaders have graduated from Leadership Las Vegas, and many remain active within the community through volunteer service and participation in the Leadership Las Vegas alumni organization.
